The ip isn't changing. Both the current world and the new map will be running concurrently for a while, to allow players to transfer stuff into the new map.

We are only making a new world, not a new server

Say, is there going to be a new spawn, a redesigned (eg, hardened clay instead of quartz) or the same spawn? And what will happen to skyview?

To make the transition easer we get to be allowed to take our stock of supplies over. Awesome.

Not sure if Addstar have a plug-in for copy/cut & paste-ing of builds to the new map or not but it can be a bit of a headache to do. Still, wouldn't it be more fun if we kept that same old house and not bulid a new one?

We will not be able to "copy/paste" builds because of the amount of work that we would have to do in order to be able to do that.

Its not the fact that its not possible. There are tools to do it. But there are so many players on the server, and to make it fair we would have to copy over everyones builds. Now that would be alot of work, plus would make the map very messy. The map is a fresh, new start, so no builds will be brought over. Sorry
