All jokes aside this is our guide to the Addstar Forums, and how to use a forum in general.

First and formost
This is the forum of a Family Friendly server and as such this is a Family Friendly forum =)

So this means -
* Strictly no swearing or innapropriate behaviour.
* Respect other users and staff
* No name calling, flaming, racist, sexist or homo/hetrophobic comments.
Respect given IS respect earned

Do not Spam

No advertising other servers
- But we love to encourage your own projects/ skills (graphics design, youtube, music etc.)
- Create self promotion threads Off Topic only. Strictly only one of these posts per person.
- Please avoid multi "Check out my new series" "Check out this series" and "Check out this series" threads.

No Necro-Bumping
This basically means, if for what ever reason a very old thread has not been closed, or used in a long time don't go posting in it just to get a higher post count.

Avoid Controversial Topics
- Most adults IRL (thats in real life) will follow the common courtesy rule of no Politics, Religion, or Workplace matters.
- Because we are all mature young adults here =) we would like you all to follow the same IRL rules.
- No politics, Religion or School yard banter please.

No Power-Posting
Power-Posting is posting rubbish for the sake of posting/ bumping your post numbers.
These will be delete/ edited or modified by staff. And written warning can be issued to repeat offenders.

To help clear this up a bit more
- Stay on topic of the thread.
- No 3 word replies. eg: Wow that's cool.
- No blank replies.
- No double, triple or worse Multi Posting.
If you feel the need to add to a thread, but you were the last to post, please use the edit button. It is there for an excellent reason =) There is an exception the Double posting, And that is a [bump]. A [bump] is replying to the thread to help bring it back to the top of the forum page. We will allow one [bump] per person, per thread, And only if it has been over 24hrs since a reply from anyone.

There is a search bar.
Try searching for a thread similar to your problems/ ideas. It helps keep repeat threads down, and you may find an answer without even having to post.

Create threads in the appropriate area
If you need some hints or tips, or you have some hints and tips to share with other players, post in Hints and Tips
If you need help and support, on the forums or on the server, first do a search of your problem.
If you can't find a matching thread to your problem, create a new thread at Help and Support
