Addstar has and always will be a server that was designed to be a safe inclusive environment. A server that had automatic moderations for the obvious swearing and language. As well as a great team of moderators that monitor the chat and help to keep the community running.

Recently I have noticed a subset of players who tend to bring personal issues into chat and 'vent'. They don't do this in private chat with a friend they do it in public chat. It is a trend we see in many social media contexts. The topics they discuss are not often violent or report violence against peers or friends but they do so in such a way that it is hard to stop because it's not overly aggressive toward another individual. This will stop. If you are having personal issues in life outside the server either
DONT bring them into the public arena on the server OR discuss them privately with a friend in PRIVATE chat. I will make it clear moderators DO NOT see private chat messages. Although if there is an issue the logs can certainly be reviewed. Some of our moderators may be prepared to discuss how you a feeling in private chat as well if you need someone to talk to... That being said they are not trained counsellors and so we ask if your feeling sad, talk to your family, and real-life friends or maybe a counsellor at school. Addstar may not be the place to discuss it.

Secondly, the other thing I am seeing in chat that is going to stop now...is baiting... This is where people consistently repeat behaviour that they are very much aware that other individuals find annoying and will react to. These players are the worse type. They create a really negative environment because often they can appear completely innocent while doing so. If your one of these people who make seemingly innocuous comments about another player then smile to your self as that person goes nuts in chat...I am talking specifically to you. I make this promise...if I catch you doing it ...I will ban you ..and I will do it without using the warning system at all. You are making the online safe environment we love toxic and quite frankly we can do without your presence.

Rant over. Addstar is supposed to be a friendly environment ....anyone not being friendly has no place here.
