Connectivity Issues, even in 1.12.2?

So, recently I've been trying to get back on addstar, but whenever i get on, it always disconnects me after the "loading terrain" section. It never gets any farther then that.

Does anyone know how to fix this? (i did see that post about people on 1.12.1 trying to connect, but i had updated it, so it may be a completely different problem...)

Hello PechaBush. Many people have been having the exact same issues. So far there has been no news from the Mods/Admins about it. Hopefully they see your post and make a reply so that it can be fixed. I hope this gets solved soon because it's been preventing many of my friends from coming online. :p -Party_Joey

We've had multiple people report these issues. So we're well aware people are having trouble joining and staying connected. The admins are trying to pinpoint what exactly is going wrong. Meanwhile; the best advice we can give is:
  • Make sure you're running vanilla 1.12.2 (no mods).
  • Make sure you're running the latest version of 64bit Java.
  • Make sure you're using the default MC launcher, not a third party launcher.

If you're still having issues with all these suggestions met. Then feel free to find the .log file of the connection failure in your Minecraft folder, and send it to the admins through the "Support Request" ticket system on this website.

The only problem is that the computer has 32bit Java, versus 64bit. But, other than that, I don't use mods and I'm using the official updated minecraft launcher.

If the java update doesn't fix the issue, I'll try that!

Thank you! ^u^

If you're still having issues with all these suggestions met. Then feel free to find the .log file of the connection failure in your Minecraft folder, and send it to the admins through the "Support Request" ticket system on this website.

Here's a step by step run through of how to do THAT:
(I've also attached a picture)

1. Press WINDOWS + R on your keyboard and type in %appdata% in the textbox, then hit ENTER.
2. Go to the ".minecraft" folder and locate the "logs" folder, and enter it.
3. To make things easier, try to connect and wait for the connection to derp out. At that point, close Minecraft.
4. If you did step 3 above, the error and details should be in the text document file titled "latest".
(To save from scrolling all the way down, click the "Date modified" column so that its sorted by most recent up top :p)
5. Follow the instructions in the quote box above.
6. Wait for the admins to :arch: the pesky disconnection monster

Hope this advice helps :)

Hello Rising!

Instead of uploading images of your logs, try linking a PasteBin of your log file content. So.. go to the log file that you believe was made when you had the connection issues. Copy ALL the text inside the .log file. Then go over to https://www.pastebin.com to paste into the text box. And then click "Create New Paste". This will take you to your uploaded paste. Now all you have to do is copy the URL of the new page and include it in your Support Request. Your link should look something like this https://pastebin.com/MRLyD3Bj.

Something I found out a little while ago: I got on one of our laptops that had Windows 10, and I connected just fine. The computer I'm having issues on is Windows 7. I'm thinking it's attached to any computer that doesn't have Windows 10.

I honestly don't want to upgrade the computer, but it might be associated with that.
