Yesterday I've been to the Nether to do some repairs so players don't fall in to the molten lava as soon as they come out of the portal. After fixing up the place I wasn't able to protect it with a claim. On top of that, the Nether a mess. Will it be getting a reset? Also, will The End be running so that we can go there at anytime? It has been like that for a long time although keep in mind its a manual process and requires a restart so it doesn't always happen on the 1st. At this point, we do not know how often (or at all) the hub will be updated or whether player builds will be used in the world. We keep getting asked this quite a lot so to be clear: It's currently NOT possible to implement 1.8 blocks at all. This update has nothing to do with 1.8 blocks.
